These are the groups that are involved in Search and Rescue activities on a regular basis, having active dedicated rescue teams that train regularly.
International dog rescue organisation
IRO is the global umbrella organisation for search and rescue dog work and unites around 250,000 people with some 2,000 tested search and rescue dogs worldwide. Together with the member organisations, the role of the IRO is to use international standards when training search and rescue dog teams, to certify mission teams, to provide coordination during disasters and to finance humanitarian aid.
